my directing practice
My directing practice is built upon open facilitating skills I honed whilst working at the National Youth Theatre of GB and communication skills honed as my time as Chaperone for the London Symphony Orchestra, National Youth Orchestra and Haringey Young Musicians.
When facilitating a room, wellbeing is at the forefront of my mind. At the beginning and end of each rehearsal, dedicated time is a must to check in with each member of the company and raise any potential issues that I, as director, might help fix before they spiral into larger issues.

Themes that demand my attention are often emotionally heavy. Participants in my workshops and actors in my rehearsal room are made aware of the fact they can leave if they need and a member of the team will be out to check in after a short while.
